Set of Four Josef Hoffmann Armchair, for Thonet, c. 1930

The No.811 in the 1930 Thonet’s catalog is made of solid bentwood beech. Designed in 1925 by Josef Hoffmann, this model preserved a resolutely modern design. This series is blackened wood and studded coated canvas. There are some slight snags on the canvas and minor incidents on the wood.
