The end of the 20th century saw the invention of the prismatic glass molding by André Blondel. The invention is patented under the name “Holophane” whose Greek roots mean “harmonious distribution of light”. In the 20s, Holophane built its development on the mastery of glass and the development of optics with a constant concern for the aesthetics and transparency of glass. This model, listed in the catalog of 1924, represents the quintessence of this research, combining elegance and quality of lighting. Contemporary wiring, E27 socket.
