Small Late XIXth Century Brass Gas Suspension

Opaline glass. Contemporary wiring. The gas supply was operated by a chain switch device, on the right side, in open position, symbolized by the letter “O” hanging to the chain and on the left side, in closed position, represented by the letter “F”.
For security reasons, the system has been permanently locked on the right, in open position.
